The hotel had such charming and cozy décor, it really made me feel at home. I especially loved the beautiful paintings and old-fashioned furniture in the common areas. As a senior woman, I also appreciated how accessible everything was. The hallways were wide enough for me to comfortably walk through with my walker, and there were plenty of handrails in the stairwells to ensure my safety.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is a more attentive staff. While the children working there were polite, they didn't seem very knowledgeable about the local area or activities suitable for older visitors.

I explored the beautiful city, visited the famous church, caught a train, and wandered around the bustling market square. Talk about location goals!
Oh, I just loved sharing a not-so-clean bathroom with everyone and the lack of soap. Such a refreshing experience!

Friendly staff who went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. The room I stayed in had a quaint seating area and a charming dining area. It felt like stepping into a cozy, private mini-apartment.
Steep staircase.

During our stay at Artuur, we were delighted to discover a lovely renovated room with a breathtaking view. We even had our own private terrace where we could enjoy the stunning sight of the belfrey. The room was equipped with a refrigerator, which was perfect for storing some takeout meals. Additionally, the location of the hotel was ideal, as we could easily explore the nearby historical city by foot. Sophie, the hostess, was extremely friendly and helped us with recommendations for interesting places and shops to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return in the future.

our recent stay in bruges was amazing! the local host at our accommodation, sophie, was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. the location was perfect, within walking distance to downtown attractions and restaurants, and just a short distance from the bike trails. the only downside was the lack of air conditioning, but a cold beer fixed that!
One of the desk lamps in the room wasn't working.

The room was so cozy and comfortable, with a lovely seating area where we could relax and chat. We also had a cute dining area, perfect for enjoying meals together as a family. And the best part? The room had its very own tea/coffee maker, which was a lifesaver for this tired parent.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the shared bathroom situation. But hey, everyone's different, and I'm sure some people don't mind it at all.

It felt like being in a beautiful painting, with the city's charm and character right outside our window. The free WiFi also came in handy, allowing us to easily connect with loved ones and share our Bruges adventures.
Bathroom towels were insufficient.

Our stay at this accommodation was absolutely mind-blowing! Despite arriving an hour late and feeling completely worn out from cycling through a storm, the host greeted us with a warm smile and helped us dry off. The location couldn't be better, with all the downtown attractions and restaurants just a short 10-minute walk away. We also loved that the bike trails were only 2 minutes from the accommodation, perfect for exploring the city. Though it was hot outside, the lack of air conditioning wasn't a problem as we enjoyed a cold beer to cool down. The host was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The room itself was quiet and beautifully renovated, offering a stunning view from the private terrace. We even spotted the belfry from there! The addition of a private refrigerator was a pleasant surprise, allowing us to store and enjoy takeaways. The proximity to local shops, cafes, a supermarket, and a park was also a huge bonus. We felt truly lucky to have chosen this stay and would highly recommend it.
